P1 Group, Inc. accepts the AGC / Willis Construction Safety Excellence Award in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – P1 Group recently earned second place for a prestigious national award – the 2014 Willis Construction Safety Excellence Award. The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), which oversees the award process, selected the winners after dozens of firms made presentations about their safety programs during the AGC Annual Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
According to the AGC, “P1 Group, Inc. of Lenexa, KS, was selected as this year’s Second Place winner in the Specialty Division’s Over 1 Million Work Hour Category because of its exceptional leadership in safety. The company presented outstanding guidance in safety and occupation health management, risk control, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.”
AGC-Willis Construction Safety Excellence Award winners are selected by a panel of five independent safety professionals within the government, corporate, and insurance industries. Final judging for the awards program took place during the annual convention for the contractors’ association.
