KANSAS CITY, Mo – Rose Brooks Center has selected P1 Group as its Facilities Volunteer of the Year for 2014. Kollin Knox, President, accepted the award on behalf of P1 Group at Rose Brooks’ annual Volunteer Appreciation Party on May 8th.
P1 Group furnished the labor, materials, tools and equipment to install new plumbing fixtures and ductwork to accommodate the remodeling of examination rooms within the clinic. P1 Group’s plumbing foreman William Gurera led the efforts in the field.
Rose Brooks Center has served the Kansas City community for more than 30 years, working daily to rebuild, claim and save lives threatened by domestic violence. Rose Brooks Center provides immediate and safe housing to families escaping violent homes and also offers prevention programming, crisis intervention, life skills development and other supportive services.
